bet365 has expanded its footprint yet again in the United States, with the company launching its latest betting operations in Kansas – the 14th local jurisdiction.
The company did not issue much of an update, other than to mark the occasion and notify the media, and say:
"We’re pleased to announce that bet365 is now available for our customers in Kansas. Our passion for sports has helped us to become a leading global brand, so we are thrilled to be operating in Kansas – a home to iconic teams and sporting venues."
At a time when other companies, including PointsBet and Super Group, have questioned the wisdom of operating in the country, and have chosen to exit. Bet365 has been more adamant in its commitment to the market.
The company has usually reacted less publicly to changes in the gambling landscape and has maintained a rigorous hold on the market. Although the company does not command the largest share, bet365 looks at its operations in aggregate.
The fact that it has continued to expand across the United States signals strength, and the company, which is not publicly listed, has deep pockets, with its boss, Denise Coates, one of the most influential people in gambling, receiving a record-setting pay package.
