The leading technology, solutions and content supplier, powering retail and digital lotteries across the globe, Brightstar Lottery, expanded its portfolio of partners thanks to a new multi-year licensing rights agreement with Avanti Licensing, Inc.
Brightstar Lottery will develop and distribute games based on Avanti's humorous greeting cards
The latter company, based in Detroit, Michigan, was founded in 1980.
Avanti is renowned across the globe as the original Global Humor Brand, with its unique, high-impact, character-driven greeting cards.
The company's cards are sold worldwide and translated into more than a dozen languages, promising humorous moments.
Teaming up with Avanti, Brightstar Lottery will be able to develop and distribute omnichannel lottery games based on the former's famous humorous greeting cards.
According to a statement released by Brightstar Lottery, the licensing rights agreement with Avanti spans five years and it is exclusive.
Lisa Marks Associates, Avanti's Licensing Agency, played a major role in the accomplishment of the latest deal.
The deal will bring new instant tickets, draw-based games and eInstant games
Matthew Whalen, Brightstar Lottery's Senior Vice President, Global Instant Ticket Services, spoke with excitement about the latest alliance.
"Avanti produces some of the most recognizable greeting cards on the market, and Brightstar is thrilled to bring its cards to life in new, interactive ways for lottery players to enjoy," he explained.
Finally, Whalen pointed out: "Brightstar will combine its world-class game design experience with Avanti's trademark humor to develop compelling instant tickets, innovative draw-based games and engaging eInstant games."
Chip Owen, Avanti's Press EVP, added that the company is delighted to join forces with Brightstar Lottery.
He said that thanks to the new alliance, the Avanti brand will now be able to reach lottery players.
"Our vast image library has universal appeal across geographies, generations and seasonal occasions," Owen said in conclusion.
This summer, Brightstar Lottery upgraded its partnership in Germany with Lotto Saxony.
