The globally recognizable provider of lottery technology, content and solutions, Brightstar Lottery, reaffirmed its position as a leading supplier for the vertical under the terms of a new agreement.
The company solidified its presence on the Old Continent, and Italy in particular, by teaming up with Italy Lotto for the next nine years.

The collaboration is facilitated via Brightstar Lottery's subsidiary, LottoItalia S.r.l., which emerged as the winner of the Italy Lotto license following a competitive bidding process.
Awarded the Italy Lotto license by the Agenize delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM), the Italian tax agency, LottoItalia will operate the Lottery for nearly a decade until November 2034.
Renato Ascoli, Brightstar Lottery's CEO, Global Lottery, highlighted the importance of the latest announcement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"We are delighted to finalize our agreement with ADM and honored to continue being entrusted to operate Italy Lotto, one of world's largest lotteries," the executive said.
Finally, Ascoli pointed out: "We look forward to driving Lotto wager growth with new player touchpoints and digitization of the retail experience, growing iLottery sales, and providing iCasino, sports betting, and other digital games to players in Italy."
Brightstar Lottery maintains a growth trajectory
LottoItalia, is a consortium led by Brightstar Lottery, comprised of Allwyn, Novomatic Italia and Arianna 2001.
Interestingly, when Brightstar Lottery's subsidiary won the contract, the former was still named International Game Technology, as the announcement was made ahead of the change of its name.
Currently, Italy Lotto is recognized as the biggest fixed-odds number lottery in the world.
Brightstar Lottery, along with its predecessor companies, has managed Italy Lotto for more than three decades.
Through the latest alliance, the company builds further on this success and solidifies its leadership position in the lottery vertical.
