The leading betting operator, Circa Sports, continues to expand its presence in the United States.
On Thursday this week, the company confirmed its plans to open the largest retail sportsbook in Kentucky.
Circa Sportsbook promises elevated experiences for bettors and sports fans alike
The new sportsbook venue located in Franklin, at the Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs, is expected to welcome its first visitors later this summer.
The sportsbook will accept people ages 21 and older and will bring a range of amenities, including a 31-foot-wide odds board and an 80-foot-wide LED screen.
Overall, the new Circa Sportsbook will span over 5,100 square feet, bringing a range of seating options and a VSiN broadcast studio.
Johan Mirkovic, The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs' vice president and general manager, shared his excitement regarding the latest announcement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"The Circa Sportsbook adds yet more amenities for our guests enjoying The Mint Gaming Hall's gambling, entertainment and dining options," the executive explained.
Mirkovic spoke about the location of the largest sportsbook in Kentucky, acknowledging that the region represents a "true sports enthusiast's haven."
Finally, the vice president and general manager said: "The upcoming Circa Sportsbook will elevate the experience, offering the area's premier viewing venue for all your favorite sporting events—no matter where you are."
Last summer, Circa Sports announced a landmark agreement by teaming up with the Chicago Blackhawks, a popular ice hockey team that plays in the National Hockey League.
The brand-new sportsbook will offer a new level of live-viewing excitement
Derek Stevens, Circa Sports' CEO, recognized that the opening of the largest sportsbook in Kentucky represents a milestone achievement for the company.
This brand-new venue is also bringing excitement to fans in nearby Tennessee, the executive said.
"Together with The Mint, we're creating a high-tech betting destination that will bring a new level of live-viewing excitement for customers across both states," Stevens explained.
Last but not least, the executive pointed out: "The Mint has been an exceptional partner in turning this vision into reality, and we look forward to welcoming guests later this year."
Visitors to the new sportsbook will be able to catch sports action on an 80-foot-wide LED screen along with a 31-foot-wide odds board where they can track real-time lines and updates.
The sportsbook will also offer more than 100 stadium-style seats, luxury recliners and three tiers of booth-style seating, ensuring a comfortable experience for guests and groups of visitors.
Notably, the sportsbook will also be the home of a Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN) broadcast studio that will create analyses and other content daily.
Circa Sports' new retail betting venue will offer five staffed betting stations, four self-service kiosks, one station accessible for people with disabilities and three self-service kiosks at The Mint.
