The Florida Lottery continues to support education in Florida
It was back in 1988 when the Florida Lottery was first created.
According to the latest data, provided by the Lottery, to date, the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund has received more than $49bn since the Lottery's inception.
This mind-blowing sum reaffirms the Lottery's dedication to supporting education throughout Florida and providing vital funding for students and educators alike.
Thanks to this crucial funding, classroom enhancements and K-12 education programs are supported.
Lottery dollars have a major impact on students who benefit from accessing resources and new opportunities, enabling them to succeed in school and later in life.
Notably, the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, which benefits from Lottery funding, has provided assistance to more than 1m students.
"The Florida Lottery remains steadfast in its mission: funding education, supporting students, and strengthening Florida’s future, one ticket at a time," reads a statement released by the Florida Lottery.
