The leading global tech company, powering online gambling operators across the globe, SOFTSWISS, announced a new fundraising initiative together with TechIsland which seeks to provide relief to those affected by the devastating wildfires in Cyprus.
The charitable initiative will aid families affected by wildfires
Joining forces with TechIsland, the company aims to provide immediate relief to those affected by the natural disasters and provide much-needed support for recovery efforts.
This week, SOFTSWISS confirmed it has made a financial donation that seeks to provide vital assistance in three important areas, including urgent assistance to families affected by the wildfires, the installation of early warning systems, as well as the prevention of wildfires and development of fire protection infrastructure.
The latest initiative in Cyprus reaffirms SOFTSWISS' dedication to helping communities in times of crisis and follows similar efforts demonstrated by the company in markets such as Europe and Latin America.
Ivan Montik, SOFTSWISS' Founder, commented on the latest donation and collaboration with TechIsland, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Supporting the country that hosts our employees and partners is not just a responsibility – it is a moral commitment," he explained.
Finally, Montik pointed out: "We have been closely monitoring the situation with deep concern and wanted to provide tangible aid to the fire-stricken areas, beyond words of solidarity. We are proud to be part of the TechIsland initiative and remain open to offering further support wherever it is needed."
The recent announcement comes after late last month, SOFTSWISS announced a partnership with Mzansibet.
The collaboration represented the company's first major South African project.
SOFTSWISS leads by example
The vital support by SOFTSWISS in Cyprus comes during a challenging period for the country, which is affected by devastating wildfires.
The initiative complements an ongoing social responsibility pattern demonstrated by the company.
Back in 2023, SOFTSWISS confirmed the launch of HELP Brazil, a noble campaign that sought to help areas affected by catastrophic floods.
Then, in 2024, the company showed support for a charitable initiative in Poland that was launched after similar circumstances.
As is evident by other charitable initiatives, SOFTSWISS leads by example and demonstrates that it is more than just a tech company.
"Supporting the communities we live and work in is not just a responsibility – it’s a core part of who we are," the company explained.
Only recently, SOFTSWISS announced it expanded the reach of Jackpot Aggregator with entry in Estonia.
This marked another major move in the company's expansion in Europe and on a global scale.
